Dundee United manager Csaba László expects Sam Stanton and Nicky Clark will be back training with the first team as of next week as the pair continue their comebacks from injury.
Speaking at the club’s St Andrews training base, Csaba László gave an update on the condition of the injured pair: “Sam Stanton next week can train with the first team.
“After the surgery he has no more pain.
“He trained today, not with us, but he will next week and Nicky Clark too.
Laszlo also confirmed that Billy King will be in the squad for the Falkirk game as his own recovery continues.
“This is good news that with Billy King I think he is ready.
“He will be part of the team again for Falkirk. This is good news.
“If we get back Nicky Clark, Billy King, and also Fraser Fyvie permanently I think the injury situation is better than it was before, and we have also more possibilities which make more competition.”
Meanwhile, Csaba László also welcomed the appointment of the club’s new Head of Medicine and Sports Science Marcin Szostak.
“I am sure that he is the right person to be a part of this team.
“He has huge experience in football and we are happy to see him here.”
